Conrad E. Weyer's Obituary
Conrad E. Weyer of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 following some recent health challenges. He was 87 years old.Conrad was born on May 13, 1932 in Hicksville, New York, the youngest of nine children of Emma (Hoberg) and John Weyer. He was a veteran of the United States Army and spent his working years in the banking industry. He was also co-owner of the Mid Island Tax Service for approximately 55 years. He spent his retirement years at Herons Glen where he was active in the community and elected twice as a supervisor of the Recreation District.He was predeceased by son William, and was the devoted husband of 62 years to Karin E. (Creutz) Weyer who he leaves to cherish his memory. He also leaves behind his beloved children Janet Christesen (Scott) of Huntington, NY, Richard C. Weyer (Diane) of Saint James, NY and James H. Weyer (Susan) and grandchildren William and Emma of Smithtown, NY. He was also grandad to Adriana and Michael Christesen and leaves behind many nieces and nephews.Immediate funeral services are private. Arrangements for Conrad’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. The family is planning a future Celebration of Life for Conrad.
