Curtis Lee's Obituary
Curtis Lee, 89, of Tice, FL, died August 19, 2014 at Evans Healthcare, Fort Myers. Private family services will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, 33907. Entombment will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials have been suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice. Curtis was born December 15, 1924, the son of Sam and Edith (Whitehead) Lee. He married Eunice Singletary and she preceded him in death. Curtis was a heavy equipment operator by trade. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivng are his two sons, Michael Lee and his wife, Deborah of Naples, FL, Mitchell Lee and his wife Traci, of Fort Myers; one brother Seth Lee of Fort Myers; two sisters, Ellen Wallace of North Fort Myers, Helen Stanland of Dixon, TN; four grandchildren Cody Lee, Jesse Lee, Justin Lee Larae Davenport; eight great-grandchildren Georgia, Cheyenne, Cody, Chancy, Peyton, Randy, Jordan, and Harper. Mr Lee was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Lee, and Earl C. Lee. The Lee family are being served by the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
