Curtis Thomas Pigott's Obituary
Curtis Thomas Pigott, 86, of Alva, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was born November 18, 1927 in Plainville, CT and has lived in Fort Myers most of his life. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, a member of Central United Methodist Church and was associated with Pigott Roofing Company for over 50 years. Mr. Pigott leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 65 years, Frances Pigott; his children: Debbie Newlin and husband, John of Pensacola, Rita Persons and husband, Bob of Niceville and Donna Tate and husband, Hal of Alva; his grandchildren: Johnathan and wife, Kimberly, Sarah and husband, Jeff, Jasmine and husband, Ethan, Isaac and wife, Lauren, Kendra and husband, John Mark and Evie and her husband, Timm; his great grandchildren: AnneMarie, Laynee, Hallee, Phare, Lily, Paisley, Isla, Ryan and Liv; his siblings: Bill Pigott and wife, Barbara and Sheila Kelly and husband, Frank, both of North Fort Myers. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, June 6, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5 – 7 PM Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the funeral home.
