Dale Ely's Obituary
Dale Vernon Ely, 56, of Fort Myers, FL, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 30, 2010, at his home.?á Born in Bethel, Ohio, on July 4, 1954, he moved to Fort Myers Beach with his parents in 1959. Dale worked in the fishing industry most of his life and was an avid outdoorsman.?á He loved fishing, camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á His wife of 26 years, Candace (Candy) Ely, preceded him in death in 2001.?á Dale is survived by his three daughters, Katherine (Paul) of North Fort Myers, Nicole (Terry) of Fort Myers, and Kristin (Travis) of Cape Coral; and seven grandchildren, Christina, Ronnie, Taylor, Ashlee, Brice, Janessa and Jaylee. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á Dale always had a smile for everyone and was loved very much by his family, children and grandchildren.?á He will be missed, but his guidance and cheerfulness will live with them forever. ?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á?á A memorial service will be held at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Chapel at 1589 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2010.?á The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m.?á Arrangements by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home where condolences may be viewed and offered at www.fortmyersmemorial.com
