Dale Gilbert's Obituary
Dale Gilbert, 80, passed away April 9, 2013. He was born June 4, 1932 in Waco, Texas to the late George and Edna (Galloway) Gilbert. Dale moved to Lee County in 1993 from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He retired after 33 years as the Plant Supervisor of Green Giant. Dale’s career led him and his family to locations such as Australia and New Zealand with the opportunity to experience travel around the world as a result. An now he continues with the Lord on his greatest adventure yet. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Velma; children, Gary Gilbert and his wife Dianna, Suzanne Gilbert, Janet Moriarty and her husband Frank and their son Ryan, Joe Gilbert and his wife Marcia; grandchildren, Ryan, Matt, Katie, Russell, Tonisha, Aaron, Ethan and Jossie; great grandchildren, Jake, Brooklyn and Bailey all of Minnesota; brother, Darrell Gilbert and sister Mary Gilbert both of Oklahoma; cousins, Bobby and his wife Sandi of Kentucky, Larry and his wife Gloria of Kentucky, Patsy and Shirley of Texas.
