I was very young when I lived next door to Tom and Helen Gangwer. Joyce was older and had an Irish Setter that she and Dale brought over to their house. That was the earliest memory I have and I remember Dale as being in the military and becoming a dentist. Today I was at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola and saw the display and wanted to extend my thanks for his service and my condolences. Rae Hicks Zimmerman
Dale set high goals and achieved them, including marrying Joyce, the love of his life. We have fond memories of the school days and especially enjoyed reminiscing at our reunions.

Celebrating the life of a great man and mourning his passing. I first met Dale while a student at the U of Detroit School of Dentistry in the 70’s. I thought he was an instructor by the way he comported himself in the clinic – only later finding out he was still an undergrad. He was always so calm, methodical and in control unlike most of the rest of us. Coincidentally, we both eventually moved to Florida and renewed our friendship. Dale helped me navigate the rough waters of setting up a solo practice in Fort Myers. His advice, always given with a dose of his unique wry sense of humor, went a long way in keeping me sane in the early years. He was a great friend and will be missed.

Joyce, I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Pellot’s passing. I have always had the highest respect for him and appreciate all he and you have done for me through the years. You have both been on my mind a lot lately, so my big regret is that I did not contact you both earlier to say “hey”. I’m in Maine at Megan’s until July 15, so sadly, I can not attend his service.
