Dana Jeanne Parker's Obituary
Dana Jeanne Parker, 40, originally of Somerville, MA, residing in Ft. Myers, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014. At age 22 she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she met her husband Stephen and started her family in Buford, GA, welcoming a son and daughter. Dana became actively involved in her church life as well as her children’s school community, making a profound impact on the lives of everyone who knew her. Dana and her family moved to Ft. Myers over two years ago where she continued her active role in the church and school community.Dana is survived by her loving husband, Stephen, her two beautiful children, Jackson, 12, and Makayla, 9, her parents Robert and Joanne Brennan of Somerville, MA, her brother Rob Brennan, his wife Tana and their two children of Amesbury, MA, her sister Michelle Scullin and her husband Matt and their three children of Havertown, PA, her sister Megan Brennan of Somerville, MA and her in-laws David and Mary Jo Parker of Scottsdale, AZ, as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins and a multitude of friends.Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00p.m., Saturday, February 1, 2014 at McGregor Baptist Church 3750 Colonial Blvd. – Fort Myers, FL 33966. An additional service will be held in Massachusetts at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory through the Pan-Mass Challenge to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in support of sarcoma research and treatment at www.PMC.org/rb0214.
