Daniel Colin Banks' Obituary
Daniel Colin Banks, age 52, unexpectedly passed away on January 5, 2026, in Fort Myers, Florida.
Daniel was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend who truly loved everyone he came into contact with. He was a proud and successful businessman who worked extremely hard, always striving to do his utmost best. Daniel consistently went above and beyond in all that he did, especially for his family.
He was known for his contagious smile, great sense of humor, and undeniable charm. Daniel’s warmth, kindness, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Above all else, Daniel deeply loved his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kirsty; his cherished children, Georgio and Leo; and his beloved grandchildren, Henry and Hadley. He is also survived by his parents, Colleen and William Aylesbury.
We take comfort in knowing Daniel has found peace alongside his brother, William, and his beloved grandfather, “Dada.”
Daniel’s legacy of love, dedication, and compassion will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 2628 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904. Following the Mass, a celebration of Danny's life will begin at 12:30 PM at Point 57, 5322 Del Prado Blvd S, Cape Coral, FL 33904.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Danny’s name may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital, 9900 S. HealthPark Drive, Suite 405, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
