Daniel Harry Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Daniel H. Johnson of Fort Myers, Florida passed away after some recent health challenges in Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, Florida. He was 92. Daniel was born June 4, 1924 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Daniel M. and Sophia Johnson. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII. After returning to states after the war, he began his long career as an electrician working with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was a member of the VFW Post #10097 of Fort Myers, Florida and American Legion – Melvin Cowart Post #274 of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Daniel was also a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley (1987) and two sisters, Cecilia Macke and Sophia Dugan. He is survived by his children Ronald W. Johnson, Judith Spiker, Sandra Beck, Sharon Miller and Steven Johnson. He is also survived by his sisters, Marlene Bender and Jeanine Currens; his brother, Stanley Johnson; 28 grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services are pending at Mueller Funeral Home 6791 Tylersville Road, Mason, OH 45040. He will be laid to rest in Arlington Memorial Gardens, Cincinnati, Ohio.
