Daniel Maldonado's Obituary
Daniel Maldonado of Lehigh Acres passed peacefully on Thursday, April 6th, 2023. Daniel was born October 5, 1931 to Leonardo Maldonado and Carmen Cuevas Gonzalez in Utuado, Puerto Rico.
Daniel has called Florida his home since 1992. During his life he loved spending time with his family, gardening, playing dominoes and singing while playing his guitar. While he had a quiet demeanor, he always filled a room with love and humor.
Daniel is preceded in passing by his parents, Leonardo and Carmen, his siblings, Moises Maldonado, Lydia Rodriguez, David Maldonado, Laura Maldonado, and Gilberto Maldonado and his beloved wife Haydee Maldonado who were married for 41 years.
Daniel leaves his loving memory with his children, Daniel Jr. and his wife Rocio Maldonado, Mary Maldonado, Vivian and her husband Rick Rivera, Wil and his wife Diana Maldonado, Carmen Maldonado, Sandra and her husband Len Pleckaitis and Eddie and his wife Lissette Maldonado, his siblings, Olga and her husband Pedro Montalvo, Luz Maldonado, Hadee Maldonado and her husband Antonio Mendez, Jamie and his wife Betsy Maldonado, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Daniel’s family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the care for his final arrangements. There will be a Visitation held from 10AM-12PM on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and a service beginning at 12PM. Daniel will then be laid to rest in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens beside his beloved wife.
