My condolences go out to the Sheridan family. Danny was a great friend of mine for nearly 60 years and we shared a tremendous amount of great times throughout the years. I and others always looked forward to seeing Danny walk across the river or down the shoreline from the Footbridge towards us at Littlefields Beach because Danny would always brighten our day with his smile and humor. Danny will be missed by many. RIP.
I worked I first ever job with Dan at the Ogunquit Lobster Pound when I was a teenager. His smile and laugh were truly infectious. I remember what a huge fan he was of the Rolling Stones. He also coined the expression "moldy goat" which came from an antique store on Rte 1 that had this old stuffed animal (obviously a goat) that they left out on their front lawn. I'll miss Dan because his fun-living spirit reminds me of so many wonderful and youthful summers we spent in Ogunquit. RIP Dan. We'll miss you.

I want to express my deepest condolences to the Sheridan family. There are no words that will take away the pain of Danny's passing. Danny & I were childhood friends and I'll never forget all the fun (and mischief) we had growing up. When we were 12, my mother decided that she wanted a tree for shade. So, off Danny & I went to the pit in search of a tree. We dug up a tree and carried it to my cottage and transplanted it in front of the cottage. The tree is now about 40 ft high and I always think of Danny when anyone comments on the tree. I'll miss Danny very much. He was a kind, gentle person and a great friend. You'll be with us always, Dan.
Littlefield's Village will not be the same without Danny Sheridan. He was a great guy and a real character. My memories of Danny span decades. Whether it was many, many years ago when he would paddle across the river on his Hansen surfboard with his beach towel wrapped around his head, or last 4th of July when he was part of the Grill Crew at the cookout, Danny was part of the fabric of Littlefield's Village. Danny will be missed by all but forgotten by none. Rest in piece Bird!!!
I am deeply, deeply saddened by this news. "Bird", as we affectionatley called Danny, was a great friend and a beautiful person, one whom I have known for most of my life and looked happily forward to seeing each summer. It is with a very heavy heart that my condolences go out to Janet, Robbie, Shelley, the kids and the entire Sheridan family.
