Daniel Edward Woolley, 81, of Ft Myers Florida passed away peacefully on November 13,2025 with his family by his side.
A devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. Daniel lived a life defined by hard work, service, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved most.
Daniel was a man of many talents and callings. He was a skilled Tradesman and Saleman running Paint and paper hanging companies, selling coatings and a successful businessman. Owning and operating paint stores with his Father and oldest Son.
He was known for his strong work ethic and ability to build, fix, and improve just about anything! His hands were rarely still. There was always a project underway, especially when it came to his home. Daniel also proudly served as a police officer, embodying duty, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to his community.
He had a lifelong passion for cars and racing. He found joy in the thrill and craftsmanship.
Equally, he found peace and pride in softer things. Almost like “Ferdinand the bull” as he was lovingly compared to.
Noticing and appreciating Gods beautiful flowers or tending to a Garden. He continuing to work to make his surroundings and the lives of those within them more beautiful.
Above all else, Daniel was a family man. He was deeply involved in the lives of his five children, always present, supportive, and ready to help in any way he could. Making his children happy was one of his greatest joys. That love extended naturally to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Who brought him immense pride and happiness. His devotion to his wife and family was the cornerstone of his life.
Daniel’s legacy lives on through the values he instilled. To name a few; his hard work, service, loyalty, and love. He will be remembered for his strength, generosity, and the quiet ways he showed up every day for the people who mattered most.
He is survived by his beloved Wife, his 5 children, 11 cherished grandchildren, and his 4 precious Great Grand children. A family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He forever will be missed.
