I light a candle for my brother . Darrell , i love you and i can not believe your gone. My memories of you is when were children. Betsy and i made mud pies and put grass on them for mint and had you boys pretend to eat them. We all played hide and seek and at supper , you were asked to say grace .you closed your eyes and started counting.
Darrell's passing follows his sisters,Betsy Petrey passing on June 10.2015.For the Petrey/Zilen family this has been a devasting last two months to lose a sister and a brother so closely. Darrell was a kind and gentle man. he was always willing to help and asking if we needed any thing,full of love and compassion. The Lord will give us all strength to bare this troubling time. "Let not these tears be of sorrow and sadness,but let them be of joy and happiness,love and compassion,for Darrell has dropped his anchor and laid down his sails to join you Lord, In the Kingdom of Heaven". Bless Darrell's loving wife,Mary,for he was her wall to lean on,and her arm to hold.we will all miss you dearly,your brother,Rev.Michael Zilen.
