David Richard Boddison, 64, unexpectedly passed away November 30, 2013 in Fort Myers, Florida. David was born September 4, 1949 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada to Sidney W. and Marie G. Boddison. David was a 50 year resident of Fort Myers and made a successful career in the Marine Industry. He owned and operated Marine Fisherman’s Supply Inc. at Fort Myers Beach for over 30 years and was President and a major share-holder of Gulf Marine Ways and Supply Inc. David also founded and operated The Yacht Basin Ship and Convenience Store at the Fort Myers Yacht Basin. David is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Malinda Pacetti Boddison, brothers Terrence, James and Dennis (Carmelaine Franks), sister Catherine Widmeyer, sons David, Vincent and Daniel (Courtney Cassidy), daughters Tina (Jeff McLaine) and Crystal (David Shuchart) and their families. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, December 14th at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Myers. The family will receive friends at a place to be announced immediately following the service.
