Dear Mary: Margaret and I recall our time with you and David when we visited Rota having flown in on a Space A flight from NAS Point Mugu. We recall you, your daughter, Ruth, and David joining us on the flight back to Point Mugu & staying with us for a few days. My enduring memory of serving in the Chaplains Corps with David was being together after training having attended all day a training seminar and just singing some hymns and Gospel songs. David had a beautiful voice.
I am happy you and David had a long time after his navy retirement to be together for we both know being a chaplain sometimes took time away from the family. May you find comfort during your time of grief in the love you both shared together.
