David Dwight Miller, December 27, 1943 through December 26, 2025
David Dwight Miller, age – almost 82, Fort Myers Florida passed away on Thursday, December 26 at 11:30PM.
David was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He grew up, loving his Lord, his family, and of course, IU basketball! David moved to Florida in 1971, but it wasn’t until 1980 that he met Margaret. David and Margaret dated for several years and then began their lives together in 1984, spending 42 amazing years together!
David left early on their most anticipated trip, as Willie Nelson would sing, “On the road again!” a song David and Margaret always played as they left town on another adventure!
He is proceeded in death by his father Roy Miller, and mother Virginia Miller.
He is survived by his spouse, Margaret Miller; sisters, Janet (James) Cook and Cynthia (Harold) Paugh. Also, his children from a previous marriage, Dianna Jo Stelmack and Jeffrey Jay Burkett.
David’s Life Celebration will be held at Gulf Coast Church of Christ, 9550 Ben C. Pratt/6 Mile Cypress Parkway, Ft. Myers. On Saturday, January 17 at 11 o’clock. Margaret requests you wear cheery, bright colors.
