David Sanchez of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly, with his loving family by his side on Friday, May 18, 2018 after some recent health challenges. He was 71 years old.David was born on February 9, 1947 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the proud son of Maria (Arrocho) and Ignacio Sanchez. He was the loving husband to and leaves behind his cherished wife Yvonne (Alverio) Sanchez and his beloved children Eileen Patat, David Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez. David will also be greatly missed by his large extended family and the many other people he knew along life’s pathway and who were proud to call him a friend.A Visitation for David will take place from 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Funeral Service will be celebrated immediately following the Visitation at 3:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.
