David Mead Sibley of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, August 11, 2016 following some recent health challenges. He was 88 years old.David was born on January 6, 1928 in Guilford, New York, the proud son of Ethel May (Mead) and Ralph Fay Sibley. He worked for International Business Machines as a machinist and was married to his loving wife, Betty Marie Sibley who sadly preceded him in death on May 9, 2016.Immediate funeral ceremonies will be private. Arrangements for David’s final care in Florida have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.David will be transferred back to his hometown area in New York where he will be laid to rest at Vestal Hills Memorial Park in Vestal, New York.
