David J. Wall's Obituary
David J Wall, 84, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away February 26, 2013. He was born November 09, 1929 in Staten Island, NY. He moved to the Fort Myers area in 1990 after spending time in Dayton, Ohio. David served in The United States Army and is a combat veteran from The Korean War. He served our country proudly during a very trying time. He is a very active member of our local VFW Post # 17770 and extremely well known by his friends. David was also a practicing catholic and attended St. Columbkille Church in Fort Myers, Florida. In his younger years he earned a masters degree in electronic programming at The Adelphy University in Staten Island,NY. Prior to his passing, David was working on writing a lotto program which was intended to win and predict future lotto numbers. He was an amazing dancer having been compared to Fred Astaire. He loved golfing, crossword puzzles and playing solitaire.David leaves behind to cherish in his memory, his daughter, Jennifer Wall of Sweden and his son, Thomas Wall of Centerville, Ohio. He also leaves behind his loving grand children, Nicole Wall- Swartz, Madeline Berry Wall and Jax David Wall. He was sadly predeceased by his wife of 25 years, Phyllis Wall who passed away in February 2012. Also very important in Mr. Walls life was Lady, his beloved and loyal tea cup Poodle.A memorial service will be conducted March 16,2013 beginning at 1:00 PM. All friends and family are invited to attend. The memorial service will take place at The VFW Post, 17770 Pine Ridge Road, Fort Myers Beach, Florida 33931.
