Deborah Beemer Means' Obituary
Deborah Beemer Means, 62, a lifelong Florida resident passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Naples, FL. She was born October 24, 1958 in Fort Myers, FL to the late George and Elizabeth Beemer.
Debi attended Manatee High School in Bradenton and Webber College in Lake Wales, FL. She married Stephen A. Means In Naples and was a loving and devoted mother to their two children Evan and Bradley.
Debi was a lifelong chef and used her talent to start a catering business eventually working as a private chef for many Naples residents. Debi’s devotion to helping others motivated her to attain her nursing assistant certification. She worked at Naples Community Hospital and later took care of her parents full time until their passing.
Debi had many passions which she loved sharing with her family and friends. Among them were boating, fishing, scuba diving, sewing, entertaining and helping those in need. Debi loved animals, particularly her three cats and was active in the Human Society of Naples.
Her family and many devoted friends will miss her quick wit, generosity and loving advice.
Debi is survived by her two loving sons, Evan Means of Palmetto, FL and Bradley Means of Denver, CO; one brother, William H. Beemer of Fort Myers, FL; as well as many extended family members and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
