Deborah Sue Nichols' Obituary
Deborah “Debbie” Sue Nichols, 45, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2022, surrounded by her family.
Debbie was born in Brandywine, Maryland on November 28, 1976. She is survived by her beautiful daughter Alissa Nelson, longtime partner Al Unruh, and his two sons Spencer Unruh and Nathan Unruh. Surviving parents include Allen Nichols and Joyce and Charlie Franzese. Debbie is also survived by her two sisters, Michelle (Nichols) Geary, brother-in-law Kevin Geary, their three children, Kristian Dean, James Dean and Corey Geary and Christina (Nichols) Estep, brother-in-law Joe Estep and their two children, Dylan Click and Jarrett Estep.
Debbie loved to bake her favorite dishes and never turned down a chance to get her hands on some blue crabs. She could make a crab cake out of this world. Her passion was in crafting unique wreaths and had an unparalleled talent for her ability to create beautiful works of art. She loved animals of all kinds and adored her extended family of cats very much.
Debbie brought great joy to every person that came in contact with her. She always lit up the room with her beautiful smile, energy, and contagious laugh.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date for family and friends.
