Born in San Diego California on May 5th 1948, She grew up in Clarksburg , WV and later lived in Connecticut. Sue grew up with a fierce determination to make a positive impact on her community. Her journey as a political activist culminated in her election as a city councilwoman for the city of Putnam, CT where she tirelessly advocated for the interests of her constituents. Beyond her professional achievements, Sue's greatest joy was found in her family. She cherished her role as a devoted wife to Dave, loving mother to Beth, Erik, and Jennifer, and wonderful Grammy to Kayla, Kyle, Jenna and Maia. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the aroma of her delicious cooking.
Sue had a profound love for the ocean, finding solace and joy in its vast expanse. One of her most cherished moments was swimming with dolphins, an experience that encapsulated her deep connection to nature and adventure. She also loved her cats and cared for many throughout her lifetime.
