Denver Dalton "Denny" Lowe's Obituary
Denver Dalton Lowe, Jr., “Denny,” passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2017 following some recent health challenges. He was 59 years old.Denver was born on June 3, 1958 in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, the proud son of Irene L. (Johns) and Denver Dalton Lowe, Sr. He moved to Cape Coral, Florida at the age of five, worked after school at Cape Marina when he was 13 years old and became a certified mechanic at age 15. He enlisted in the United States Navy following high school where he became a navigator and the leading petty officer in his division receiving an E5 rank in half the time normally required. He was an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and received the Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Navy Expeditionary Medal. He served as one of the peacekeeping forces deployed in Beirut in 1982.A Memorial Service conducted by the George D. Thiesen VFW Post No. 10097 will take place on Sunday, July 9, 2017.
