Derek Christopher Chaipel's Obituary
Derek Christopher Chaipel, 19, of Cape Coral, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was born January 3, 1995 in Albany, NY and moved to Cape Coral in 1997. He attended Cape Coral High School. Derek leaves to cherish his memory, his parents: Steven and Stacy Chaipel of Cape Coral; his sister, Courtney Chaipel of St. Petersburg; his lifelong friend who was like a brother, David Schulz of Cape Coral; his loving grandmothers: Suzanne Brick, Charlene Helbig and Gail Chaipel; his loving grandfather Mitch (Elisete) Brick and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial gathering for family and special friends will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Steven and Stacy’s home to celebrate Derek’s life.
