Dianne Tenaglia Konkel's Obituary
Dianne Tenaglia Konkel, a recognized lifelong educator, devoted wife, and loving mother, passed away in Orlando, Florida on December 19, 2025 with her husband and family with her. She was 85.
Dianne was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Eugene Tenaglia and Constance Tenaglia (née Carano) on January 4, 1940. A teacher at heart, she began her career in education and went on for more than 60 years to teach generations of students in Toledo Ohio, and especially Fort Myers, Florida.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Richard H. Konkel, of Orlando, Florida; her son Richard A. Konkel and his wife Kimberly, and their son Evan, of Dallas, Texas; her son Mark A. Konkel and partner Alison Crawford of Dobbs Ferry, New York, and his children, Ella, Amelia, Noah and Mia; her daughter Mary Beth Campbell and her husband John of Lake Mary, Florida, and their children Reagan and Ryan; and her daughter Jennifer Holliman and partner John Gavin of Fort Myers, Florida, and her children Michaela and Tyler.
A liturgical celebration and memorial will be held on January 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at Village on the Green, 500 Village Place, Longwood, Florida 32779.
