Aunt Dede,I donâ??t believe I truly ever expressed how influential you were in my life.So many good memories! There was the birthday pool party when I was in the sixth grade; I can remember it like it was yesterday. The countless evenings of staying up late to help with homework; yes I was a procrastinator. There were the countless holidays. Who would possibly forget that I insisted each and every outdoor Christmas light was working. Good times! I found this poem to be very touching and wanted to share it with you along with the other readers.â??Come with Meâ? by Rhonda BraswellThe Lord saw you getting tiredAnd a cure was not to be,So He put his arms around youAnd whispered, â??Come with me.â?With tearful eyes, we watched you sufferAnd saw you fade away,Although we loved you dearly,We could not make you stay.A golden heart stopped beating,A beautiful smile at rest,God broke our hearts to proveHe only takes the best.Itâ??s lonesome here without youWe miss you so each day,Our lives arenâ??t the sameSince you went away. When days are sad and lonely,And everything goes wrong,We seem to hear you whisper,â??Cheer up and carry on.â?Each time we see your picture,You seem to smile and say,â??Donâ??t cry, Iâ??m in Godâ??s keeping,Weâ??ll meet again someday.â?Love,Daniele Bartoli & Louise Oliveira
