Dolores Mercedes Socin, 91, a Ft. Myers, FL resident since 1981, formerly of Detroit, MI passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Cape Coral, FL. She was born September 28, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Joaquin and Frances Rodriguez, now deceased.Dolores was a longtime parishioner of St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Ft. Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; three children, Randy Socin, Mark Socin and Margarette Socin; as well as her two siblings, Jack McKinnon and Carmen Kruger.Dolores is surived by her four loving children, Sharon Kreger (Gregory) of S. Carolina, Kathryn DiTrapani (Michael) of Bokeelia, FL, Matthew Socin of Ft. Myers, FL and Mary Socin-Schmitz (Jason) of Cape Coral, FL; seven grandchildren, Annette, Barry, Kalyn, Julia, Randy Jr., Layla and Austin; five great grandchildren, Katrina, Gregory, Andrew, Luke and Sam.A visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Ft. Myers, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Monday, May 6, 2019 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 5632 Sunrise Dr., Ft. Myers, FL. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Ft.
