Dona Marie Badman's Obituary
Dona Marie Angleson Badman, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the age of 75.Dona was born May 5, 1941 in Glens Falls, NY. The daughter of William John and Ella Sarah Bristol Angleson.?á Dona grew up in Glens Falls, graduating from Glens Falls High School. Dona married Keith Badman November 18, 1961, was a homemaker and moved several time in association with his work.While residing Sebring, Dona began her professional carrier as a Legal Secretary for Jim McCullum Law. Dona nurtured her interest in Interior Design and ultimately received her accreditation as a Certified Interior Designer. Dona eventually moved to Ft. Myers and began working for Robb and Stuckey. While at Robb and Stuckey, Dona became one of the lead Interior Designers for South Seas Plantation, and received numerous awards and accolades for her work. Dona, after leaving Robb and Stuckey, continued her Interior Design career and opened Dorian Habitations, Inc.Dona, a devout Catholic, was an active parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord in Fort Myers, FL. Out of her devotion to her religion, the church and fellow parishioner’s, Dona graciously volunteered her time as the Bereavement Ministry Coordinator.Dona is survived by her children Stephanie M. Neal and husband Patrick of Slidell, LA; sons William A. Badman and wife Justine of Tampa, FL; Keith H. Badman II and wife, Kathy, of Lehigh Acres, FL; Mark A. Badman of Daytona,FL; eight grandchildren, Laura Landrum, Hanna Elizabeth and John Patrick Neal, Nathan Alexander and Nicholas Alasdair Badman, Michelle Lynn and Jeremy Winston Badman, Scott Badman Jr., Kristen Lynn, Terry Kurtz II, Erin Isabel and James Robert Badman; two great-grandchildren, Peter Jessie Badman and Harper Landrum.Dona will lie in repose at Memorial Gardens, located at 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, Fla., on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 6 – 8 PM.A Mass will be celebrated at the Church of The Resurrection of Our Lord, located at 8121 Cypress Lake Drive on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 11 a.m..
