Donald Garvin Clingerman's Obituary
Donald Garvin Clingerman of Fort Myers, Florida passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, November 11, 2016 following a traffic accident. He was 86 years old.Donald was born on March 31, 1930 in Brazil, Indiana, the proud son of Viola Pearl (Knox) and Arthur Clingerman. He was a veteran of the United States Army and spent his working life at General Motors as a Job Setter.He leaves to cherish his loving memory his devoted wife Beulah Jane (Boes) Clingerman; his beloved daughters Joy Apple (Don) and Ruth Pinnick (John); his loving grandchildren Angela Trotta, Zechariah DeLoach (Anna) and Whitney DeLoach; his great-grandchildren Ashley Trotta, Michael Trotta III and Joseph Trotta and is also survived by his sister, Orpha Clingerman. Donald also leaves behind many extended family members and countless friends who are greatly saddened with the sudden loss of his company. Sadly, he is predeceased by his parents and his grandson Donny Zeiher who passed away in 1988.Donald was an active member at First Christian Church of Fort Myers and a Memorial Service will be celebrated for him in the church sanctuary at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 14, 2016. The church is located at 2061 McGregor Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, (239) 334-0316. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you instead make a contribution in Donald’s memory directly to the church.Arrangements for Donald’s final care have been entrusted to Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
