Donald James Disbrow's Obituary
Donald James Disbrow was called to the Lord on February 27, 2024 at the age of 90. Born January 24, 1934 in Wauseon, Ohio, to Buelah (Loveland) and Montral Disbrow. Donald proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Paratrooper in the 11th Airborne during the Korean War. He retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber in 1993 after 28 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Sharon of 52 years. Don and Sharon moved to Florida in 1968 and had the first of two daughters, Dawn in July of 1970 and Ann in March of 1972. He enjoyed boating, cruising and traveling to warm climates. Donald was a FreeMason, a member of the Shrine, The Order of Quetzalcoatl, Scottish Rite, American Legion and the Firestone Gum Dippers. Donald retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber in 1993 after 28 years of service. Donald is survived by his daughters Dawn Perry, Ann Mixson (Gregory), his Grandchildren, Gavin Perry, Phineas Mixson and Maggie Mixson. A memorial service will be held Sunday, 10am on May 26, 2024 at Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, Fl 33907.
