Donald F. Halucha's Obituary
Donald Frank Halucha, 78, formerly of Fort Myers and Spring Hill, Florida, and part time resident of Georgetown, Kentucky, died peacefully the evening of Monday, July 7, 2025, at CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, with his family by his side. Donald is survived by his wife, Karen Halucha, their daughters, Maryann, and Amy (Planz), son-in-law, Wayne, and granddaughter, Penelope.
For nearly 40 years, Donald Halucha proudly invested his time and skills to his company, Showcase Publications; A collection of weekly newsprint advertisement magazines he began in 1978.
Donald Halucha enjoyed people, and always had something witty to say. Whatever the topic was, he’d usually conclude it with, “You gotta have a story!” Donald’s memory and legacy will be cherished forever.
Viewing, service and celebration will be held at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida 33907. Friday, 8/1 viewing 4-6 pm, Saturday, 8/2, viewing 10 am, service and celebration to follow.
