Donald "Jeffrey" Yeager's Obituary
Donald ?Ç£Jeff?Ç¥ Yeager, 65, passed away May 11th, 2013 after a courageous 2 ?? year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born February 12th, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio to Donald W. and Mary Lou (Stowell) Yeager. Jeff graduated from Ontario (Ohio) High School in 1966 and Bluffton University (Ohio) in 1970. He moved down to Fort Myers Beach in the late 1970?ÇÖs. Jeff loved being a teacher, primarily geography and history and enjoyed seeing all of the students daily. He was able to touch many hearts through his time in the school systems. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 31 years, Laurie, loving daughters Alyssa and Kimmie, beloved pups Emma and Diamond Lil, his first granddog Lola, parents Don and Mary Lou Yeager of Ontario, Ohio, mother and father ?Çô in ?Çôlaw Carl and Audrey Enberg of Punta Gorda, Fl., sister Suzanne Smith (Ron) of Pinckney, MI., brother-in-law Denis (Dondrea) and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother-in-law Wayne. Jeff was the ultimate ?Ç£Cheer Dad?Ç¥ and attended numerous cheer events and competitions with his family over the past 20 years. He was his daughters?ÇÖ biggest fan. While Jeff enjoyed all sports, he was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. O ?Çô H A Memorial Service celebrating Jeff?ÇÖs life will be held May 18th at 10:00 AM at First Christian Church in Ft. Myers (2061 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33901). The family requests that attendees wear scarlet red and grey to honor Jeff and his love for Ohio State. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ?Ç£Jeff Yeager Benefit Donation Fund.?Ç¥ Contributions can be made at any Wells Fargo Branch or mailed to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, 12751 S.
