Donald Walter Kusk's Obituary
Donald Walter Kusk, 82, of North Fort Myers, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019 following an extended illness. He was born August 14, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Emma (Mickelsen) Kusk, who preceded him in death. He graduated from Central High School in Plato Center, IL in 1954.Mr. Kusk proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Before moving to Florida, he volunteered for the Pingree Fire Department. He was a 50 year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and retired from the Aurora Blacktop Company after 20 years of service where he was a blacktop operator. Don loved golfing, boating, playing cards and enjoying his family.He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy Kusk; his children: Ron Kusk (Betty) and Rick Kusk; his step-children: Becky Foster (Kent), Bill Marshall and Jennifer Wilcox (Paul); and his brother, Richard Kusk (Mary Lu).
