Donald Rein Quinn's Obituary
Donald Rein Quinn of Shell Point-Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, May 14, 2017 following some recent health challenges. He was 91 years old.Donald was born February 22, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee, the proud son of Henrietta (Rein) and Clarence A. Quinn. He served his country in the United States Navy and was commissioned as an Ensign. Following his military service Donald was trained in accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant and later supplemented his credentials by attending law school and passing the bar exam. In 1959, he became managing partner of the Pittsburgh, PA office of the international accounting firm Peat, Marwick and Mitchell. Later, in 1976, he founded his own accounting firm, Quinn / Benz where he worked until he retired. Donald leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Eunice (Curtis) Quinn and his sons Laurence C. Quinn of Southport, NC and Richard Quinn of Boston, MA.A Memorial Service for Donald will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at Fort Myers Congregational United Church of Christ, 8210 College Parkway, Fort Myers, Florida 33919, (239) 482-3133.
