Donald Curtis Smith's Obituary
Donald Curtis Smith of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, April 29, 2019 while under Hospice care for some very recent health challenges. He was 92 years old.Donald was born on July 19, 1926 in Horicon, New York, the proud son of Josephine (Bolton) and Austin A. Smith. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was later a Professor of Psychology at The Ohio State University and Florida Atlantic University. He was married to and was sadly preceded in death by his loving wife Josephine (Fordyce) Smith. Donald leaves to cherish is memory his daughter Erin Smith; son Brook Smith and daughter Lauri Presley; grandsons Matthew, Alex, Nicholas and Ulises; granddaughter Alexis and great-grandson Jacob. He also leaves behind a number of extended family members along with many other people who were proud to call him a friend. Donald will be fondly remembered and warmly missed by all he knew.Immediate funeral ceremonies are private.
