Donald Ray ?Ç£Don?Ç¥ Udell, Jr. passed away peacefully April 9th at Hope Hospice with his daughter and his dog at his side.?á He has now joined his wife Gloria, son Gerry and daughter Diane in heaven.?á Born in Longview, Washington on June 23, 1925, Don was a navy medic during WWII.?á He was an accomplished pianist and singer, performing in bands during the war.?á He composed many songs and recorded his music in the 1950?ÇÖs.?á He leaves behind his daughter Kathryn Udell of Fort Myers, FL; daughter-in-law Joyce Udell of Jonesborough, TN; granddaughters Jennifer Banner of Jonesborough, TN and Emilee Udell of Washington, DC and Jill Fitton of Leicester, MA; grandson, Jonathan Fitton of Leicester, MA; a great granddaughter Lauryn Banner of Jonesborough, TN.?á He will be missed by his grand dog Sundance.
