Doreen Monroe, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025. Born on August 22, 1947, Doreen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and the simple joys she cherished. She will always be the light to those all around her and will be truly missed.
Doreen's life was a testament to her dedication to family. She was a devoted mother, always present and supportive in the lives of her children. Her children were the center of her world and she always cherished her role as a mother above all else.Her love extended to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immeasurable joy to her later years. She also maintained close and loving relationships with her siblings, David (Lisa) Cooke & Donald (Sue) Cooke.
In her leisure time, Doreen found contentment in simple pleasures. She enjoyed the challenge of puzzles, the camaraderie of games, and relaxing evenings spent watching her favorite television shows and movies. These quiet moments brought her peace and happiness.
Doreen will be remembered not only for her loving nature but also for her kindness, warmth, strength and resilience. Her spirit was gentle yet strong, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Doreen is survived by her children Nicole Monroe & Michelle (Aaron) Mulyca. Her Grand Children Jeffrey (Natelia) Jaques, Brianna, Anthony, Violet & Emily. As well as her two Great Grandchildren Anthony & Brandon.
