Doris O. Casadei's Obituary
Doris O. Casadei, 98, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Fort Myers Beach, FL passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012.?á Mrs. Casadei was born May 27, 1913 in Waterville, Maine, a daughter of the late Francis Carey and Mary Fagan Carey. Doris was the widow of Fred Casadei who passed away in 1998 and was also preceded in death her son Fred, Jr. and daughter, Marcella. Mrs. Casadei was a member of the Ft. Myers Beach ?áMoosehearts, her late husband Fred was the founder of the Ft. Myers Beach Moose Club. She was also a former member of the Ft. Myers Beach Yacht Club. Doris lead a very active life and was an avid bingo and poker player. She is survived by her grandson, Gordon Greco of Henderson, NV; ?á4 great grandchildren and 3 great-great?ágrandchildren; also surviving are several nieces and a nephew including Marlene (Bob) Duncan of Port Charlotte, FL with whom she had made her home for the past several years. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to services.?á Entombment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
