Doris Elizabeth Collins' Obituary
Doris Elizabeth Collins, 88, passed away May 22, 2013 at Hope Hospice in Fort Myers, FL. She was born July 30, 1924 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Thomas Lewis Rosser and Florence Mae (Rising) Grimmie. Doris resided in Medford and Erial, New Jersey and wintered on Captiva Island, Florida. She worked for NJ Bell Telephone, Dobbs Farm Market in Voorhees, and was retired from the Camden County Highway Department. She was a member of the Eastern Star Athene Lodge 201 Merchantville. Doris loved spending time with her family, going on cruises and playing cards with her many friends. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda (Bob) Sweiderk of Mays Landing, NJ; Betty Jo (John) Riegert of Captiva, FL; and Carole (Bruce) Mulford of Erial, NJ; grandchildren, Kelly (Dan), Jared, John, Justin, Emily, Matthew, Amy, Steven and Michelle; and a great-grandson, Zachary. Doris was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn Sweet and sister-in-law, Eleanor Armstrong. A memorial service will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
