Doris Strahlendorf, 83, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at HealthPark Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida.?á Mrs. Strahlendorf was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 2, 1928, a daughter of the late Gordon Shriver and Eleanor Hancock Shriver.?á?áDoris was devoted to her family and enjoyed ice skating, the beach and boardwalk of Wildwood, NJ, traveling, going on cruises and playing scrabble.?á She had resided in Fort Myers since 2010 coming from Philadelphia.?á She was of Presbyterian faith.?á She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert H. Strahlendorf of Fort Myers, Florida; her sons, Robert L. (Linda) Strahlendorf of Fort Myers, Florida and Gerald P. (Carol) Strahlendorf of Naples, Florida; her grandchildren, Robert L. Strahlendorf, Jr. and Lindsay Lee Strahlendorf.?á Visitation will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.?á Entombment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
