Dorothy Helen Brummert of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully following a recent illness with her loving family by her side on Friday, January 22, 2016. She was 74 years old.Dorothy was born on January 8, 1942 in Laurel Hill, North Carolina, the beautiful daughter of Ruth (Langley) and David Morgan. She was a longtime employee of the Scanlon Automotive Group of dealerships located in Fort Myers. She leaves behind her loving son Allan Brummert also of Fort Myers.A Memorial Service for Dorothy will be celebrated at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.
