Dorothy Regina Dailey, 90, of Fort Myers died February 8, 2016 at her residence. Services will be at the family’s convenience. Inurnment will be at a later date at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL, 33907. Memorials: Donor’s Choice. Dorothy was born June 13, 1925 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of James Leo and Elizabeth Kathryn (Weyman) McGuire, Sr. She married Charles E. Dailey on July 15, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA. Together they moved to Wilmington, DE in 1954. During 1986, they relocated to Fort Myers, FL, after their retirement. Dorothy was a member of the Red Hat Ladies at Laguna Lakes and a member of Friends of the Lakes Library. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, needlework and was an avid reader. She also loved to take care of dogs for other people. Surviving are her children, Joan Crivellone and her spouse Anthony of Boynton Beach, FL, Joyce Dailey of fort Myers, FL, Mary Dailey of Fort Myers; siblings Mary Sikora of Catonsville, MD and Raymond McGuire of Pittsburgh, PA. Preceding in death are her parents and her husband Charles. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Dorothy.
