Dorothy L. Foreman's Obituary
Dorothy Foreman, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2020 following some recent health challenges. She was 59 years old. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee; but lived most of her life in Saginaw, Michigan and made her home in Fort Myers, Florida for the past ten years.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Clarence Holliday and Prince Ella Williams.
She was the loving sister of: Marjorie Joan Reed of Atlanta, Georgia; Theresa Foreman of Fort Myers, Florida; George Foreman and Joseph Holliday both of Saginaw, Michigan; with two loving sister-in laws Monica Holliday and Vanessa Foreman. Dorothy had many friends, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins; Survivors include her Nieces: Bryna Foreman, Sabrina Brown, Dafel Reed, Georgia Brown, Keyara Humes, Aynee Yacob, Magdalene Yacob, Kanada Reed, Asia Reed, Zantilla Reed, Shardae Kelly, Sharviance Brown, Crystal Brown, Semone Brown, Sparkle Brown, Margie Brown, Erica, Jessica, Kiara Brown, Nikyra Nichols, Christine Nichols, Katlyn Nichols and Elyani Yacob; Nephews: Theodore Brown, Milon Brown, Titus Brown, Jay Eric, Jarriel Reed, Vestie Reed, Quintell Reed, Kevin Humes, Kempton Humes, Kwentin Humes Elias Yacob, Kenneth Williams, David, Tede, Michael, DeVaun, Odell, Malachi, Jomarr, Absalom, Jay Mareion—and many great nieces and nephews. Dorothy had many Cousins that thought the world of her: Zelia Weaver, Yvonne Lewis, Joy McAdams, Brenda Bryson, Minelva Allen, Fontaine Berry, Pamela Berry, Deborah Berry, DeDe Berry, Eleoma Berry, Herresol Williams, Gloria Williams, Theodora Williams Carter, Tyrone Williams, Bobby McAdams, Weyland Weaver, Wilbert Weaver, JB Lewis, Gregory Lewis and George Hairston. Dorothy had a neighbor and friend named Stella who treated her like a daughter.
Dorothy never married or had children, she graduated from Saginaw High School in 1981. She enjoyed Music, Walking Outdoors, The Arts, Cruising to the beautiful Caribbean and was a volunteer at the flower garden of Hope Club House.
