Dorothy Lucille Kraus of Fort Myers, Florida died Friday, January 3, 2014. She was born March 23, 1918 in Pierre, South Dakota, the youngest of Guttorm and Elizabeth Bentley’s five children.She is predeceased by her two husbands, Erwin C. Hockemeyer and Charles Clarence Kraus. She is also predeceased by her parents and her siblings: Herbert, Audrey, Maxine, and Ellery. She is also predeceased by her daughter, Deanna (Hockemeyer) Meister.She is survived by her grandson, Mark Andrew Meister.Dorothy worked at ITT in Fort Wayne Indiana for 25 years, where she was administrative assistant to five presidents. After retirement, she moved to Fort Myers, Florida. She loved travel, movies, and playing euchre.Service is 2 PM Friday, Jan. 10, 2014 at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, Indiana with calling one hour prior.
