Dorothy "Dot" Mazur's Obituary
Dorothy A. Mazur, 80, a 2 year resident of Cherry Hill, NJ, formerly of Fort Myers, FL passed away peacefully at her residence in Cherry Hill, NJ. She was born September 4, 1940 in Delaware Township, NJ to the late John and Dorothy Sexton.
Dot was a longtime trainer with Southeastern Guide Dogs which led to her love of animals, specifically dogs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William in 2005 and her son, William, III.
Dot is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Maschmidt (David Kowalski) of Cape Coral, FL; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Gary; three great grandchildren, Alexander, Caylin and Cali; four siblings, Frank Sexton (Nancy), George Sexton (Tina), Joan Browning and Barbara DePalma all of New Jersey; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow right out on the Cemetery grounds of Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Peace.
Anyone attending the services the funeral home requires a mask and all temperatures will be taken at the door. We ask that the CDC guidelines regarding the COVID 19 Pandemic be followed.
