Dorothy M. Schultz's Obituary
Dorothy M. Schultz, 86, of Fort Myers, passed away Friday, March 13, 2009. She was born May 11, 1922 in Bellingham, MN and moved to Fort Myers in 1942 from Ortonville, MN. Along with her husband and son, she owned and operated Schultz Brothers Gladiolus Farms and Black Diamond Potato Farms.Mrs. Schultz is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Alois Schultz of Fort Myers; her son: Markus A. Schultz (Esther) of Fort Myers; grandson, Harrison P. Schultz (Stephanie); two great grandchildren: Ava Schultz and Andie Tate Schultz and her mother, Virginia Anderson. Also surviving is her brother, John T. Schuelke (Fumiko) of Fort Myers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Schultz in 1992 and her grandson, Markus A. Schultz, II in 2002.Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice of Lee County, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
