I am grateful for 20 years of friendship with Doug! Although, that’s not enough! He was a wonderful friend and I’m so thankful for him. We met in the Devil Rays control room (Raysvision) in 2003, became quick friends and stayed friends throughout the years. I knew Doug from FSU. We worked on FSU Live on assignments together. I met him his first semester on campus and we became fast friends. I have so many wonderful memories of him and I treasured our time together. He was always smiling and always had a joke to tell. I’ll miss him so much.
As one of Doug's high School instructors he was my all time favorite student. He won awards in my drafting class every year at North High. He was such a loving person with a great since of humor. He reminded me of the way I was in school because he had the same passion for drafting as I did. He was the person you wish everyone was like because he was so friendly and caring. I miss him dearly.
