Where to start, back in 1973 when I first met Duane I didn’t care much for him but as the years went by you might say he grew on me and we became great friends from lunch’s in LaBelle to gun shows and shooting it was the best of times and dinners out with the wife’s. Even a couple of cruises sometimes it hard to find one of us with out the outer Duane always tripping over Kurt.
One time comes to mind we were to meet for lunch in town, you know Duane and his Lexus he saved me a parking spot I whipped up in Cute white sport coup a young man and his father was coming out of the restaurant they were headed in our direction. Well the young man looked at at our cars wow great Porsche, Duane looked at him and said what about the Lexus, kid said everyone has one of those. Thought Duane would have kicked him, but I was to busy laughing, got into lunch Duane said doesn’t know what he’s talking about. God did he love his Lexus’s.
