Dwayne and I have a long history. As single men we played long and well. As working associates we accomplished many meaningful and successful projects for ourselves and the company we were employed by. I was most fortunate to be "there" when Julie and Dwayne "discovered" each other, moved through the dating days on into marriage.
Dwayne was an indelible friend and "Buddy", fun to be around and adventuresome.
He chose well when he chose Julie as did she Dwayne.
We join all those who mourn Dwayne's passing and send love and hugs to Julie.

Sending love and condolences, Julie, for your loss. Dwayne was a very special guy.
Great guy that loved to fish! We had some fun catching sharks off of Sanibel. Rest in peace my good friend!

Love and prayers go out to you, Julie and the family. Jim and I enjoyed times spent with you both. Wishing you love and peace in the wonderful memories you made together.
Memories from ‘across the pond’ of our wonderful friend Dwayne. We first met Dwayne and Julie when we had a condo at Sanibel View and remember it like it was yesterday. There was a social evening once a month and meeting Dwayne for the first time was special, that smile and easy going humour. Needless to say, we became good friends and enjoyed many great social occasions - Dwayne and Julie were great hosts and we will miss Dwayne terribly.
Our thoughts are with Julie and family, we are hoping that the USA borders will be open for us to be there for Dwayne’s Memorial.
Dwayne was a great man. I knew him from when he lived in Elkhart. I was married to Jim West at the time and we have so many good memories of Dwayne. He was our best man when we got married also. I will never forget the fun memories we made with Dwayne. He was always laughing or had a smile on his face. Godspeed Dwayne. ❤️🙏. You will be missed by many and you are loved 🥰
