Earl Tevie Kiser, 87, of Fort Myers, FL died Thursday, June 16, 2017 at Promise Hospital in Fort Myers. Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorials: Promise Hospital of Fort Myers. Earl was born March 5, 1930 in Atlanta, GA, the son of Author Frances and Eva (Rackley) Kiser. He married Mildred Dowdy, his wife of 66 years, on February 2, 1951 in Atlanta, GA. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Downtown Fort Myers. Earl was involved in many different ventures. Early on, he worked for Sperry Univac and had sold the first computer to the US Air Force. He was also an owner operator Of Eden Wineries of Alva, FL. He and his family operated the winery for 30 years. During his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Earl leaves behind to help cherish his memory his wife, Mildred; children, Bonnie Carmack and her husband Dan of Ovieda, FL, Michael Kiser and his wife Roxann of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Shelby, Taylor, Ashley, William, Austin, Amy; great grandchildren, Caden and Teagan. Preceding in death are his parents and daughter, Cynthia Lynn. The Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Earl.
